About
the Site
DiscoverUniversalOrlando.com
(also found under DiscoverUniversalStudios.com) was
originally designed in 2005. However due to time restraints,
the site was not officially launched in May 1, 2006.
The current design that you see, is an evolution of
one of our other sites, www.DiscoverMyrtleBeach.com
(where we make our bread and butter). Both
look exactly the same, but DiscoverUniversalOrlando.com
is technically more advanced from an design; administration;
and programming point of view. This original design
was used because it was very easy to navigate and
was able to display information in the best possible
way.
You
will note that the first time you visit the site,
the main color theme is red. But the site offers much
more than this. At the top left of each page, under
the logo, is a Color Style Menu with the option to
choose Red; Yellow; Green; Blue; Orange; & Pink.
But clicking a color, you will in fact, change the
color scheme of the entire website. Even the photos
at the top right change to fit the color scheme of
your choice. So by changing colors, you are completely
discovering a new website each time. Go ahead and
click around, you know you want too.
DiscoverUniversalOrlando.com
is basically a labor of love. Ever since our first
trip to Universal Studios in June 1990, this "2nd
Happiest Place on Earth" instantly became our
"FIRST". Our only regret is that we didn't
create this site earlier for you to enjoy. The site
will never be truly finished. It will always be evolving
as new things are created at Universal Orlando. Things
are always being added us, Universal Staff Members,
and by our visitors.
We're
always looking for new ideas and new features for
the site. Our goal is to provide as detailed information
about Universal Orlando as possible, to make a much
more enjoyable experience to visitors, and to be used
as an outlet to fanatics with too much time on their
hands, just like us.
We
hope you enjoy the site and Universal Orlando as much
as we do.
Sincerely,
Raymond
